When a suffix is added to a verb, all the preceding vowels in the word are dislodged one step to the right according to this sequence:

e -> a -> o -> u -> € -> å -> e

Vowels are dislodged once for each suffix.

If a prefix is added, all vowels in the word after the prefix will be dislodged in the opposite direction.

NOMINATIVE PLURAL

On nouns, the plural suffix is an empty suffix.

TOPIC MARKING

Topic is marked with a suffix which depends on whether the subject of the topic is singular/dual/plural and whether it's a completely new topic or has already been discussed once during the day.
