All nouns end with -o. All adjectives end with -a. Words that end with -e are adverbs, and you can transform nouns to adverbs by changing the end of the noun such as "aŭto" (car) to "aŭte" (in a car manner, by car).

Plurals are marked by -j at the end of the word and adjectives should agree with the noun.

Free word order for verb, object and subject. The accusative marks the object by the use of -n at the end of the word (after plurals). After prepositions such as "pli" or "de", there are no accusatives, word order is important in that case.
