Grammar:

French is a run of the mill SVO latinate language, with VSO when asking formal questions.

French likes to smash words together if the first word is small and the next one starts with a vowel, or most of the time with an H as well. French is not a prodrop language, but sometimes certain expressions can be.

French doesn't like making words plural that end with -l thus they remove it and a -ux to the end.
