death is the saddest thing.
if everyone is destroyed with the ground’s blanket, i too wanted to be destroyed.
but the thing which all believe, wanted to kill you, destroys the ground’s blanket
but, if they also won’t die, it isn’t acceptable.

Grammar

SYNTAX:

Agup is mostly SVO, though occasionally becoming SOV, with syntax leaning towards head-initial.

NOUNS, ADJS:

Nom:

-Ø indef, -ṡ def

Acc:

-d indef, -d def

Genitive/Instrumental:

-u indef, -u def

Adjectives agree with the case of the noun.

na-i - Superlative

VERBS:

Verbs have 3 “modes”: imperfective, perfective, and irrealis. These modes are indicated a variety of ways, with the imperfective being the default, the perfective being indicated with consonant mutation/apophony or prefixes and the irrealis with apophony or prefixes. As the forms are not predictable, each verb where knowing the different forms is important has all 3 listed, in the order given here. The present and future tenses use the imperfective, the past tenses (with the exception of the past progressive) use the perfective, and conditional statements and certain moods use the irrealis.

Verbs mark for both agent and patient, with the present tense patient markers serving as absolutive markers for the past tense. The agent takes suffixes, the patient takes prefixes.

Patient:

1sg:(i)s-
2sg:o-
3sg:i-
1pl:us-
2pl:to-
3pl:ċ(a)-

Agent:

1sg:-(s)a
2sg:-o
3sg, 3pl:-um
1pl:-utṡ
2pl:ut

The present and past tenses take no suffixes, but the future takes the suffix -i which comes directly after the stem.
