Adjective morphology:
Verbal morphology:da=, mo= are preverbs - they don’t appear in present series verbs but do appear in all other series For all screeves in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd conjugations, the 1st person subject prefix is v-. the 2nd person subject prefix is null. The 1st person dative prefix is mi-, the 2nd person dative prefix is gi-, the 3rd is u-. In 4th conjugation the subject is marked by the dative endings. For the present screeve, in the 1st conjugation, the 1st and 2nd persons have a null suffix, the 3rd person singular has a suffix -s, and the 3rd person plural has a suffix -en. In 2nd conjugation, those endings are -i, -a, and -ian respectively. In present and future series, the subject takes the nominative and the object takes the dative. In aorist series, the subject takes the ergative and the object takes the nominative. The aorist and optative screeves make up the aorist series. The screeve endings are -o -os -on for 1st conjugation and 2nd conjugation iniani verbs, and -e -es -en for 2nd conjugation doniani verbs. Elements like -eb, -ev, -av are present/future stem formants - they appear in the present and future screeves but not in others. There are two ways of forming a passive 2nd conjugation verb from a 1st conjugation verb - if the preradical vowel of the 1st conjugation verb is -a-, and the present/future stem formant is -eb, then the verb stem takes a -d afterwards - these are doniani verbs. All other verbs get a preradical vowel -i- (if they don’t already have it) and get the present/future stem formant -eb (if they don’t have it already). |
